They hired strippers for the elderly in wheelchairs and sexy girls entertained the ages.
Taoyuan Veterans House, a government-run facility for retired army personnel in Tawain, hired a stripper to celebrate one of the most important holidays in Asian culture, the Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Mooncake Festival, celebrated as Thanksgiving for the harvest. However, after the footage of that moment spread rapidly on social media, the nursing home authorities had to apologize.
An attendee video of last Thursday’s erotic performance quickly went viral after being posted on social media. A masked erotic dancer appeared in lacy lingerie at the celebration, where she was seen doing a lap dance to an older man and touching her breasts to his face.
Seniors were happy with sexy girls
Although the old man didn’t seem to mind at first, he was later seen touching her breasts. Meanwhile, other nursing home residents cheered enthusiastically, as if they were enjoying the sensual spectacle.
However, the aged care facility was met with backlash after the footage went viral, and then released a statement: “The purpose of the event was to entertain residents and make them happy. We are very sorry for the crime committed,” he said.
A nursing home spokesperson added that in previous years Mid-Autumn Festival parties were canceled at the Nursing Home due to the COVID pandemic. In fact, they had planned a striptease show to raise the morale of the residents. However, they acknowledged that the erotic dancer’s actions were “too euphoric and fiery” and would be more cautious when planning such events in the future.
Stating that there is a quieter bingo game and a karaoke event in an adjacent nursing home, the nursing home team noted that the residents and the stripper are always protected from COVID, and that face masks are worn throughout the erotic show seen in the video.
