A NYPD official committed suicide Monday evening with a bullet imposed on him, as office sources reported. The commander who attempted suicide died.
A senior law authorization source said the boss of the 107th region in Queens shot himself inside an office vehicle at Booth Memorial Avenue and 164th Street close to Kissena Park. Video from the scene showed a huge police presence, including a NYPD helicopter, nearby.
As indicated by a NYPD Official with information on the episode, the 21-year veteran of the office called a partner at the region and said he was having considerations of self destruction. When officials had the option to find where he was, it was past the point of no return.
The delegate investigator’s self destruction comes after a troublesome time for the office. In the course of recent years, there have been various officials who have passed on by self destruction — 10 out of 2019 alone.
