Norway’s Karsten Warholm breaks 29-year world record in men’s 400m hurdles

Norwegian Karsten Warholm broke the 29-year world record in the men’s 400m hurdles.

In the 4th stage races of the Diamond League, held in Oslo, the capital of Norway, 25-year-old Norwegian athlete Karsten Warholm broke the world record in the men’s 400 meters hurdles with a time of 46.70 seconds, and Kevin Young of the USA captured his 29-year title. On the other hand, our national athlete Yasmani Copello placed third with 48.86 seconds.

With a time of 46.70 seconds, Warholm broke US Kevin Young’s 29-year world record in the men’s 400m hurdles. Young held the record with a time of 46.78 seconds, which he achieved in 1992. National athlete Yasmani Copello placed third with 48.86 seconds. On the other hand, national athlete Yasemin Can, who competed in the women’s 5 thousand meters, took the 7th place with a time of 14 minutes 46.13 seconds.
