The former senior executive of the cult Scientology, to which Hollywood celebrities are members, said that he saw the world-famous actor John Travolta kissing with a masseur.
Claims about the famous names of the Scientology sect fell on the agenda like a bomb. Especially the claims about famous names such as Tom Cruise, David Beckham and John Travolta created surprise.
The book written by a former member of the Scientology cult has caused quite a stir. The book contains striking claims about many Hollywood stars, from famous members of the sect to Tom Cruise to John Travolta.
It was often reflected in the press that Tom Cruise, one of the famous actors of Hollywood, had been a member of the Scientology sect for years and shaped his life according to the sect’s rules. However, in the new book written about the sect, he makes striking claims about both Cruise and many famous names.
Scientology, one of the world’s most mysterious belief movements, is officially recognized as a ‘religion’ in some countries, and accepted as a sect in some countries. The number of world-famous stars in this movement, which is influenced by Buddhism, Hinduism and Christianity in their faith teachings, is quite high.
SHOCKING CLAIMS ABOUT JOHN TRAVOLTA
Mike Rinder, a former senior executive of Scientology, who came to the fore with scandals from time to time, made striking claims about the members of the sect in his book A Billion Years: Escape from a Life at Scientology’s Highest Ranks.
Recalling that they once spoke with the famous actor in John Travolta’s suite, Rinder said that at that moment the masseur dressed in a bathrobe entered the room. Claiming that Travolta had said “I’ll be back in a minute” after kissing the masseur on the lips, he said: It was quite shocking that he did this in front of a senior Scientology official. I think it was signaling his confidence in me.
“Since the early ’90s, Travolta has been followed by various male lovers, including a porn star,” Rinder writes.
Rinder also writes: “Much has been written about John’s sexuality, and whatever the facts of his sexual orientation, I firmly believe he would have been more open about it had it not been for the stigma he felt due to his strong belief in Scientology.”
DAVID BECKHAM HAS BUILT A FOOTBALL FIELD TO BE A MEMBER
Rinder’s claims are not limited to John Travolta. Rinder also writes about Tom Cruise and David Beckham in his book.
Rinder mentions that Cruise acted as an ambassador for the cult to spread in Hollywood: “Tom Cruise was so eager to introduce other celebrities to Scientology that the church once built a football field for David Beckham to show off. A professional-grade soccer field has been built at the church headquarters in San Jacinto, California.”
Rinder, a former church official, continues: “The ground has been leveled, watered, the perfect lawn. A full-time watchman has been appointed from the team… It was built for one purpose only: Tom Cruise could persuade his friend David to come to Gold. It never happened.”
Finding women suitable for TOM CRUISE
Rinder claims that the church tried to help Cruise in his love life as well.
Reminding that the star actor attended the ribbon cutting ceremony of a new Scientology center in Spain in 2004, Rinder said, “Tom was dating Spanish actress Penélope Cruz, which shows why so much money was spent to buy and renovate the beautiful building there. It’s kind of ironic though that Penélope left him before the building was completed.”
Rinder also claims that a special project was underway to find a wife for Tom Cruise, overseen by David Miscavige, leader of the Church of Scientology, and trusted lieutenant Greg Wilhere.
Cruise had a brief affair with British-Iranian actress Nazanin Boniadi, a Scientologist, and began dating “Dawson’s Creek” star Katie Holmes in April 2005. Holmes and Cruise decided to end their six-year marriage in 2012.
A spokesperson for Scientology said of Rinder’s allegations: “Mike Rinder is a liar trying to profit from his dishonesty… He makes a living by harassing his former church and leader with false police reports, provocative propaganda, and fabricated stories.”
MIKE RINDER’S HISTORY WITH THE Sect
Rinder was introduced to Scientology at the age of 5 when his family started taking him to local church centers in Adelaide, Australia. He skipped college after high school and became a Sea Org member instead. He served as Scientology’s international spokesperson and head of the “Special Affairs Division”. He spent time with many of the cult’s most prominent members, including Tom Cruise, Kirstie Alley, John Travolta, and Lisa Marie Presley.
But his suspicions about the secret organization led Rinder to decide to leave the cult in 2007, at age 52. He became the enemy of the group overnight; He claimed he was being followed and spied on.
Rinder writes that he paid a high price to escape. His ex-wife, Cathy, who remained at Sea Org., divorced him after she left the cult. His brother, sister, and two children also cut ties with Rinder. Her mother didn’t meet either, and when she passed away in 2013, her family didn’t even notice.
Rinder explains why she continues to talk despite her hardships and abuse: “I brought two children into that world and they don’t know any better. I want them to have a chance to think for themselves and make their own decisions.”
