Big Day Here’s What Happened In Britney Spears Case
Britney Spears’s custody case against her father is going through important developments. In court, Britney defended herself with very harsh words.
Britney Spears speaks in her father’s custody case: She drugged me by giving me drugs
Britney Spears testified for the first time yesterday at the hearing, which she described as the ‘freedom from slavery’ case, filed by her father Jamie Spears to end the 13-year guardianship in which she controlled her life and money. “My father won’t let me get married and have children, she drugged me by giving me drugs,” Spears said, adding that her father’s control had turned to abuse.
After 13 years of tutelage in which her father controlled her life and money, famous singer Britney Spears broke her silence. Speaking yesterday about her father Jamie Spears’ 13-year tutelage, Spears called for an end to this “emotional abuse” that demoralized her and made her feel like a slave.
The control of the 39-year-old singer’s financial and private life was completely under the control of her father, Jamie Spears, after a psychological disorder in 2007.
In this context, it was stated that Jamie Spears’s father controlled all of her tours, earnings, whether she was married or not, and even her social media posts.
Stating that this situation made the singer’s mental health worse and she was in a difficult situation, the singer’s fans launched a “Free Britney” campaign and demanded that Spears be able to control her own life.
Britney Spears speaks in court: I want my life back
Spears testified for the first time in a long hiatus in her father’s 13-year custody case.
In the case, which he attended remotely, Spears said his father’s control had turned to abuse and he just wanted a normal life.
The singer accused her father of preventing her from marrying or having children with her boyfriend, requiring her to wear a cervical device, forcing her on psychiatric drugs, and making her feel “drunk” all the time.
“I want to progress gradually. I want to be able to get married and have a baby. But I was told that I couldn’t get married or have a baby with the current guardianship,” said Spears. “They don’t want me to give birth too much. So basically, this system does me more harm than good. I deserve to have a life. I’ve worked all my life.”
“My father loved the control he had to hurt his own daughter 100 percent. I lied and told the whole world that I was fine and happy. It was a lie,” said the singer. But now I’m telling you the truth: I’m not happy,” he said.
Britney Spears speaks in court
“I just want my life back It’s been 13 years and that’s enough. All I want is to have control of my money so that this ends. Honestly, I want to sue my family. I want to hear why they did this to me by keeping it inside me for so long. These are my heart. It’s not good for you. I’m very angry and cry every day.”
Spears’ fans gathered outside the courtroom in support and chanted ‘freedom for Britney’. Here are the reflections of the fans’ support for Spears…
