Actress George Segal passed away at the age of 87. Segal had been undergoing heart treatment for a while.
Actress George Segal was reported to have died in Santa Rosa in California due to complications from bypass surgery.
The announcement was made by Segal’s wife, Sonia.
Segal has been playing in the US drama ‘The Goldbergs’ aired on ABC for the past eight years. The last episode of the actor will be aired on April 7.
Segal’s films with two Golden Globe awards include “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?”, “Flirting With Disaster”, “California Split” and “The Hot Rock”.
Segal was nominated for the “Best Supporting Actor” Oscar for his role in “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?”
