The popularity of the series all over the world inspired the operators. Inspired by the Squid Game, a cafe in Switzerland prepared a fun game for its customers.

In the third episode of the Squid Game series, the characters had to use a needle to remove pre-drawn shapes from a hard honeycomb layer in order to advance to the second round of the competition. If the contestants went beyond the limits of the honeycomb shape or exceeded the allotted time, they were eliminated from the competition.

According to a news on social media, Kcal Kitchen in Glasgow launched its own version of this game inspired by the Netflix series and shared the details of the game on social media.

Diners are given a pile of pancakes with a honeycomb on top, similar to the ones seen in Squid Game. Customers just need to remove the shape using their knives to get the food for free.
